Haidy Geismar is a Professor in Anthropology at University College London. She has long standing research connections to Vanuatu and Aotearoa New Zealand where she has worked with museums, artists and policy makers on issues pertaining to cultural and intellectual property, indigenous rights in museums, and indigenous arts movements. In addition to writing, teaching and research, she is also an active curator working with communities to develop new forms of museum display and practice.
