Te Maru o Hinemihi Chairperson: Stakeholder Consultations

Samantha Callaghan is of Te Whānau a Apanui, Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāi Pākehā descent and grew up travelling around Te Ika-a-Māui. She has a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Massey University and a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from Victoria University of Wellington. She recently worked as the Metadata Analyst for the Georgian Papers Programme. She is a passionate advocate for consultation with existing and prospective stakeholders, especially source communities.

Samantha and her volunteer weaver group contributed two tukutuku panels for the beautification of the wharenui, Hinemihi. Unfortunately these were lost in the fire at Clandon Park.
